Eddie qualified from one of Irelands leading catering colleges, Cathal Brugha Street in Dublin. Having qualified with his H.Dip in Hotel & Catering Management and a B.Sc in Management Eddie sought to broaden his knowledge on the hospitality and catering industry by travelling to America. Eddie spent two years in America working at the cutting edge of the service industry.

Having returned from America Eddie established several successful businesses before joining Sodexho, formerly know as Gardner Merchant. Eddie’s role as Director of Sales allowed him to combine his expert knowledge of the catering industry with his keen financial awareness to allow Sodexho to flourish.

In 1999 Eddie returned to third level education to study for an MBA from the Smurfit Business School in Blackrock, Dublin from which he successfully graduated.

It was during his two years as Managing Director of Kylemore Services that Eddie began to foster the idea of Catering Solutions.

Identifying a demand for specific expertise in the contract catering market place Eddie has established Catering Solutions to offer companies, organisations and authorities independent advice and knowledge regarding their catering services. This will enable clients to maximise improvements to both the quality and cost of their catering services.
